Foundations

Bible Baseline

This is a nine week course that will be taught on Sundays during the 11 AM sermon time. Each class starts as the children are dismissed from the worship service, and lasts a little less than one hour.

The purpose of the class is to provide a survey of the Christian faith. It is open to everyone, whether or not a part of Anchorage City Church. It is led by Dr. Jim Strutz. The class meets in Room 103, which is just across the hall from the main auditorium.

There is no registration fee. Students should bring a Bible and a notebook or pen. There is no examination. Class discussion is welcome. These Baseline classes are taught three times a year.

The "Foundations" courses are designed like the foundation of a building. These Bible Baseline classes are like the poured concrete which forms the building footer. Extending the analogy, the Bible Truths classes are like the individual concrete blocks which are carefully laid on the footer to complete the foundation. Once a solid foundation is laid deep in the ground, a straight, tall building can be raised.
